Michelle Brown — Owner
Michelle is the owner of Hot Fired Arts and has been inspiring creativity for decades. She taught art for 19 years in Montgomery and Frederick Counties before purchasing Hot Fired Arts from its original owner in 2016.

Her passion lies in creating a safe, welcoming, and relaxed environment where people of all ages feel comfortable exploring their creative side. Michelle believes that everyone is creative — sometimes they just need a little encouragement and the right space to discover it.

Our amazing studio team — Lea, Audrey, Amber, Heather, Linda, and Amy — are here to guide, encourage, and support you throughout your creative experience. Whether you’re painting pottery for the first time or experimenting with fused glass or clay, our staff is always happy to help spark ideas and answer questions.
